KARACHI: Tribunals have been set up to hear appeals against the decisions of returning officers in relation to general elections.
6 judges of Sindh High Court have been nominated for Appellate Tribunals in which Justice Arshad Hussain, Justice Adnan Karim, Justice Khadim Hussain will hear appeals from Karachi and Hyderabad.
Apart from this, Justice Irshad Ali and Justice Zulfikar Sangi will perform duties in Sukkur, while Justice Saleem Jaisir will hear appeals on the decisions of returning officers in Larkana.
The Election Commission had written to nominate judges for the Appellate Tribunals, which will hear appeals against the decisions of the Returning Officers.
