The Accountability Court of Islamabad has dismissed the interim bail in the former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan Toshakhana case.
Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir had reserved the verdict after hearing the case in Adiala Jail, which has now been pronounced.
The court rejected Imran Khan’s interim bail. In the verdict, it has been said that there were irregularities in the collection of Tosha Khana gifts in Badi-Nazar.
The court has said in the order that despite the physical remand, Imran Khan will remain in jail and he will be interrogated in jail.
NAB also arrested Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case after the bail was dismissed.
Speaking to the media, Deputy Prosecutor General NAB Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi said that the former PTI Chairman will be physically remanded tomorrow.
It should be noted that Imran Khan was on interim bail in the Tosha Khana case.
