The US Supreme Court has refused to speed up the hearing of the case related to the immunity granted to former President Donald Trump.

Special Counsel Jack Smith had requested the Supreme Court to bypass the Federal Court of Appeals and deal with the immunity case on a priority basis, but the US highest court rejected the request without giving reasons.
