Actress Kajol, who played the role of Anjali in the famous and super hit Bollywood film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, says that she was more interested in playing the role of Tina.
The film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was released on the big screen in 1998 starring Shah Rukh Khan as ‘Rahul’, Kajol as ‘Anjali’ and Rani Mukherjee as ‘Tina’.
Recently, during an interview on the 25th anniversary of the release of the film, Kajol said that Rani Mukerji played the role of Tina in the film, for which she fought a lot with producer Karan Johar because she was Tina. I wanted to play the role of
Kajol said ‘I fought with Karan Johar in the film and this fight was for the role of Tina which Karan Johar had forbidden me to do’.
To Kajol’s stubbornness, Karan Johar said in response that ‘You are playing the role of Anjali, I insisted again, then Karan said you don’t know what is going to happen next in the film with Tina and after that Karan told me to shut up. Done’.
The actress further said that she fought with Karan Johar for the role for 45 minutes and each time she faced no.
